We've just added a ton of lost gems to our site...

We've turned our closets inside out to bring you some things we haven't seen or heard in a long time. We've made MP3s out of some pretty obscure cassette demos, scanned some funny cartoons we've done - or that were done by people we know, found pictures and graphics from our now defunct Out Of Bodies GeoCities Club, and even had a movie clip made from one of our old music videos! Lots to see and hear!

Whenever possible we've even banged our heads together to try and explain these things to you. Because, well... quite frankly, some of these things NEED explaining! (Like this picture here of Dan laughing... that was from our old club) So Enjoy yourself and tell us what you think!

I Wonder... Wonder, Wonder very well. - Dan Banic

Dan had no comprehension (or maybe he just didn't care) about the implications of making too much noise living above an irate landlord - which is maybe why he chose to punctuate the beginning of this song by slapping a doorway with his hand. The song (if you want to call it that) is another one of those impromptu pieces that happen during an out of control live recording session in Donald's living room. What makes this song so funny is listening to Dan listening to Donald - and losing it. On the recording you can hear Dan, Donald, Joe, Mark and his wife, Kathy. Just click on the song title.

Here's a slightly unusual find recorded by Dan, Donald and Mark. It's a Salsa-beat tune recorded one evening in Dan's bedroom. For the most part, Dan had already recorded the basic tracks - including his quasi-Bob Dylan-ish lead vocal - but it was still missing something. At some point Dan suggested that Mark and Donald add background vocals. That entailed the repeating of the title of the song - which was no problem, but then Dan wanted the background track to include spontaneous Spanish chatter. Trouble is, none of them spoke Spanish. That left Donald, Dan and Mark little option but to go into their own horrible renditions of the dialect - and Donald's attempt sounded more like a Cheech Martin impression. However, as bad as all of that may sound, the tune is really quite catchy!

A clay figurine of Joe, Dan and Donald. This was created by Barry Crawford, a fantasy art sculptor who Joe met at a convention. The guy can work from photographs - and not having met the three (outside of Joe) he did a pretty good job capturing their liknesses.

This is one of those great Out Of Bodies tunes done by Dan, Joe and Donald - - recorded badly! Joe sings the lead on this one - and apparently followed Dan's lyric sheet to the letter - which was full of, what the fellas refer to as "Danny-isms." Those are Dan lyrics which may have sounded good to him - but don't seem to make much sense to anybody else. The lyrics "walking with my lonely girl" get indiscriminatingly replaced with "walking with my lonely world" - - but the tune was played by Dan in that infectious early-Beatles Samba Pop that we all love so much! Rather than record the song over and *fix* it, possibly making it one of the best OOB tracks ever recorded, Dan decided to just speed up the tape causing Joe and Donald to sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. Even today, years later - nobody is really sure what he was thinking.
